People Skills for UX: 3rd User Experience Toledo Region Conference
Thanks to all of the sponsors, supporters and attendees of the People Skills for UX conference on May 27th.
If you attended, you will get an email via Eventbrite MailChimp in a few days with information on how to watch the replays and other follow-up details such as offers from global sponsors. You can fill out a survey to let us know your opinion of the local conference. One respondent will win a digital set of Rosenfeld Media books.
If you missed the conference, you can see some of what was covered on our local Twitter stream.
What’s next this summer?
If the People Skills for UX was your first event about user experience in the area, then you should check out some of these events, where you can hang out with the same smart crowd and learn more about designing user experiences.
- The Toledo Web Professionals have something scheduled every month this summer. June 10 is the next meet-up (about security and Drupal). July is a tour of the LaunchPad Incubator. August is a family picnic. Check out TWP on meetup.com.
- AIGA Toledo‘s next event is a studio tour on June 11th. RSVP on Facebook.
- A high quality conference is just an hour away in Ann Arbor: Internet User Experience is June 15-17.
- The first meet-up about Lean UX & Product Development is slated for June 23rd.
Also, completely by chance, NEXUS4change, supported by BGSU, is hosting a webinar on June 3 at 2pm about graphic facilitation. It is with Rachel Smith, who works with David Sibbet at Grove Consultants. So if you loved David’s People Skills for UX talk, learn more about graphic facilitation on Wednesday. Register!
